I love this! I could stare at it for hours. All those shades of green with that spot of pinkish red. I am also drawn to the play af geometric shapes against the natural shapes of foliage. Nice painting!
Carrington, this is just beautiful. I have to echo what Leslie said about the greens with the pinkish red. Really makes it exciting. Makes me want to go to Hawaii too.
Makes me want to go to Italy!! It's those cypress trees(& something about the light...& the fact that Hawaii is outside of my experience!)Maybe they're not cypress, but that's how I interprete them. It makes an interesting composition with the opposing verticals & diagonals & also with what Leslie said about the geometric shapes & the softer foliage.
