starting day ....

First day of two paintings.Starting is always hard but once you get started how time flies. Then I just want them to dry magically so I can continue,but I have learned  that with oils you have to wait a day or so.Patience is not one of my few virtues butI get lots of hints from the universe that I need to cultivate it! One of these is a commission the other a vase of mock orange ,that wonderful old-fashioned plant your grandmother had that i had found a photo of and saved for the right day.
